William C Doukas, MD, is a board certified orthopaedic physician with a strong military background specializing in Shoulder and Sports Medicine at the Bay Area Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine Division of The Centers. Dr Doukas served for 24 years in the United States Army culminating as a Colonel in the U.S. Army Medical Corps. He also served as Chairman of the Department of Orthopaedics and Rehabilitation at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, D.C., for nearly a decade in addition to working as an assistant professor of surgery at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences before entering into private practice in West Virginia.
