As a registered nurse with 35 years of experience ranging from Newborn Intensive Care & High Risk Obstetrics to Infertility & Oncology, Val has had a long-term interest in “food as medicine.” In her career, she has experienced the impact of insulin resistance, and has grown to appreciate the link between insulin resistance and diabetes, high blood pressure and cholesterol, infertility and multiple cancers. After serving six years as a Nutritional Educator and Clinical Coordinator for a large outpatient cancer center, she committed to “disease prevention” and opened The Weigh to Health! Weight Loss and Wellness clinics. She is dedicated to helping her clients achieve their weight loss, and empowering them with the Ideal Protein Protocol.
