Rita J. Shkullaku, M.D.

Dr. Shkullaku grew up in Rockville, Maryland. She then went on to receive a B.A. in British and American Literature at Pacific Union College in Angwin, California, followed by her medical degree at Loma Linda University. After medical school Dr. Shkullaku decided she was away from home long enough and returned to Maryland. She completed her residency in internal medicine and served as Primary Care Chief Resident at the University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore, Maryland. Dr. Shkullaku has a special interest in obesity and nutrition with an emphasis on preventative medicine. She spends her free time cooking, traveling and running. Dr. Shkullaku does tele-medicine consultations for some conditions that may not require an office visit
