After a devastating motorcycle accident left him a double amputee, Michael Avon was told he’d never walk or have full use of his hands again. The Washington, DC based digital artist and visual storyteller overcame all odds and now travels the world helping brands share their stories as a photographer, videographer, music producer and activist. “Instead of living in perpetual depression, I found a new passion. I became a photographer. My artwork, my photography, is more than just taking pictures, it is a story of overcoming adversity.”
