Meade Natural Heritage Association (MNHA) is an incorporated, non-profit organization dedicated to wildlife conservation and promoting outdoor sporting activities. MNHA partners with US Fish and Wildlife to manage hunting activities on the Patuxent Research Refuge - one of the largest federal public-use hunting programs in the United States based on season length, species, and the number of hunters. Through a wide variety of activities and services, MNHA offers benefits to its members, refuge hunters, the refuge, and our wildlife. Hunting Control Station is open Saturdays in August from 9-3. We are open Monday through Saturday during hunting season. Closed on Federal Holidays. See website for details.
