Center for Young Children University of Maryland

The Center for Young Children is a laboratory school and part of the College of Education at the University of Maryland's flagship campus in College Park, MD. The CYC serves children in preschool and kindergarten (3-5), and is nationally accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children. The CYC serves as a teaching and demonstration site for UMD's undergraduate and graduate students and is used for research into child development. The CYC is recognized as Maryland Excels Level 5 (the highest level of quality) and accepts Maryland Child Care Scholarships. Please call 301-405-3168 to schedule a tour!
